Get to know Sinaloa

At Sinaloa, a state in the northwestern part of the country, you will find a multifaceted territory where landscapes of beaches, mountains, valleys and cities with great historical wealth are combined.

Culiacán, the state’s capital city, has a colonial past that is present in its buildings and streets, such is the case of the cathedral and Municipal Palace. If you are looking for family activities, you can visit the zoo and botanical garden. The warm climate of the city is ideal for spending the day at one of the water parks in the region.

If we are talking about the festive atmosphere and warmth of its people, Mazatlán is the destination par excellence. Walk along its boardwalk, the second longest in the world, enjoy its beautiful beaches, take the little ones to see the Aquarium and delight yourself with delicious marlin tacos and a traditional aguachile (ceviche).

In the month of February you cannot miss the Mazatlán Carnival, which is one of the most famous in the country. Like any destination in Mexico, Sinaloa has wonderful Pueblos Mágicos to discover. In Cosalá, you will admire the legacy of its mining era among its streets and buildings. You will also get in touch with nature in the Reserva Ecológica del Mineral de Nuestra Señora, here you can zip line, go hiking and camping.

At El Rosario, viceregal buildings will take you to another era. Admire the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario with its baroque-style altarpiece.

Learn about the traditions and history of El Fuerte town, stroll through its main square and see its kiosk made of forged steel.

Sinaloa means good vibes and positive energy, let its joy embrace you.
