Only 45 kilometers ( 28 miles ) south of Cuernavaca is the “sea” of Morelos: Tequesquitengo. This small town and its lake have become a favorite weekend destination where days flow between a wide range of activities, both on water, on land and in the air; there is something for every taste and budget.

 

Its extraordinary climate, with sun and heat almost all year round, has allowed beach clubs, hotels and vacation rentals to be built around Lake Tequesquitengo.
