The state of Guerrero is located in the southwestern region of the country, bordered to the north by the states of Morelos, Estado de México and Puebla and by Oaxaca to the east, its proximity to the center of the country, makes Guerrero a favorite vacation destination.

Its territory offers natural landscapes such as beaches, grottoes, archaeological sites, as well as historical buildings. In Chilpancingo, the state capital city, you can visit the Templo Santa María de la Asunción and the Museo Regional de Guerrero.

The state is mainly known for its incredible beaches such as Acapulco, which has been the tourist destination par excellence in Mexico and Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, that is more appealing every day due to the variety of attractions and resorts it has to offer. You can also visit Barra de Potosí, Playa Ventura, which is ideal if you are looking for a more relaxed plan in contact with nature, or Playa Cayaquitos and Playa Bocana, among others.

If you are a nature lover, we recommend you to visit the Parque Nacional Grutas de Cacahuamilpa where you will discover various rock formations. On the other hand, the Cascada de Cacalotenango is the perfect setting for hiking.

Taxco is a Pueblo Mágico famous for its colonial constructions and for being one of the most important silver producing regions in the country. Walk its cobbled avenues and alleys and stop to admire the Parroquia de Santa Prisca. The gastronomy of Guerrero is as rich as its culture, which combines prehispanic and Spanish traditions. We recommend you to try the pozole, the jumiles and if you are more courageous, the iguana meat.
