Get to know Juriquilla

Just 10 minutes away from the Historic Center of Querétaro, you can find one of the most exclusive areas of the whole State. Before being one of the “chic” spots of Querétaro, this place 's origins come from the XVII century, when it was known as “Pueblo de Juriquilla”. In 1707 an hacienda was built, dedicated to agriculture and breeding. This helped the town to develop little by little until it turned out to be a complete community.

 

Nowadays you can visit the Hacienda Juriquilla to stroll in its beautiful gardens and its antique palaces. You can even book a room in it; it is totally renewed and the rooms are more than elegant.

 

You can't miss the chance of visiting Parque Bicentenario. This park offers green areas and different spaces for a great array of activities. If you are a shop addict, let me tell you that this place boasts about having the best shops in the whole state: Antea and Uptown Juriquilla.

 

You can find the most exclusive labels in Antea whereas in Uptown Juriquilla you can enjoy its go kart tracks or its ice rink. If you prefer golf, here you will find the most beautiful golf courses in the whole Mexican Republic. This golf courses were designed by Larry Hugges. You will find 18 golf holes, an exclusive golf store and the most amazing views of the El Cajón dam.

 

To end the day, you can always have super at Plaza Náutica Juriquilla or Centro Gourmet Náutico that have the most prestigious restaurants of Mexican and Japanese cuisine and more, all this in front of a spectacular artificial lake.
